PERSONALIZED GUITAR LESSONS

         My musical journey began at age 7 when I told my parents I wanted to learn to play the piano.  Three years later, at age 10, I realized that it was the guitar that was my instrument. So, at the age of 10, I began my lessons with the great Paul Geller who understood my passion and helped me cultivate it. After several years of learning with Paul, I was fortunate to be accepted into the Rock Band and Choir programs at Marin School of the Arts (MSA) at Novato High School. During all four of my years at MSA, I was surrounded by other students and teachers who shared my passion for music and I was able to focus on and dive deeply into music theory, music composition and music production. Also, through the Jazz Choir and Concert Choir programs, I was able to study voice.  

After graduating from MSA, I attended California State University at Chico. During my years there, I was a music major focused on studying the Recording Arts and voice. I spent my last semester in Sweden where I studied Music Business and Industry as part of the Direct Exchange Study Abroad program. When I returned home, I began offering guitar lessons and writing and recording my own music.  I have also worked on various music projects and albums with and for other musicians.

I have now been playing guitar and writing music for over 16 years and I want to share my passion with you. 

Although we are currently living in extraordinary times, in the midst of this pandemic, we still need music in our lives!  So I am happy to offer online guitar lessons through platforms such as Zoom or Skype, as well as in person lessons.  This amazing technology allows me to teach you regardless of where you live, and allows you to enjoy learning to play the guitar in the comfort of your own home. Whether you prefer online or in person lessons, I promise to make the learning easy and fun, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
